Interstellar what an excellent/great movie. Like all of Christopher Nolan's movies when the trailer came out i was very excited citing the fact that this was a space movie. After watching the movie i was blown away. Having seen the "Dark Knight Trilogy " to do even better than that body of work i thought was not possible but i was wrong. Every little thing ,every minute detail within the movie is thought over ,is designed to the finest detail ..From the spacesuits to the spaceship and oh my what visuals of the black hole's event horizon...I have not watched this movie on the imax format but someday maybe i will....Hans Zimmer's music is extremely well tailored to the story ... to give you an example the

sounds playing along when cooper chases after and docks with the damaged 'endurance' is just mesmerizing .... the mood , the urgency , the stakes , the sum total of what mankind is boiled down to, the effort, the contrast between the worst and the best of what humanity is can be contrasted by Cooper as good and Dr Mann as bad. This contrast also is exhibited also in the machines obeying the two men ie tars and Dr Mann's machine.... tars is agile , fast , decisive , obedient, efficient, prompt where as Dr Mann's machine is just a bundle of loose wires with the sole purpose of misinformation and to kill ... the two machines reflect the the heart of the men that program them...as such is the author so is the verse...
the poem that is repeated time and time again during the movie " Do not go gentle into that good night .... " captures the burning desire of man/woman kind to seed their offspring ...the love/soul fire of knowing that somewhere somehow the future generations will not succumb to extinction but live and live well...it is so fitting that at the end of the movie the future world is populated by a woman ...
would like to sum up by saying what a movie ... it has everything ~ a fist fight between the hero and villain on a distant planet ... madness and virtue , hope and dismay as in of the professor who has given up on the math and a brother who has resigned his and his children's fate , a father whose love for his seed--- his daughter has pushed him to undertake an "Interstellar" journey... a machine who is literally the right hand of man as in Cooper's tars, time lost , time spent in exchange for life, love, selfishness, etc
The dystopian world shown in the movie is very much a possibility where the soil will not yield to us ... all in all a great movie , a definite much watch.... I will ad to this post in the future if i can ....
